BOOKING POLICY
Shantae Stylez LLC dba Shantae Head Spa
Effective October 1, 2025
This Booking & Service Policy (“Policy”) sets forth the terms and conditions under which Shantae Stylez LLC, doing business as Shantae Head Spa (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), provides professional salon and spa services to its guests (“Guest” or “you”). By scheduling an appointment with the Company, the Guest acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the provisions of this Policy.

1. GENERAL BOOKING
1.1 All appointments must be scheduled online through our booking system at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance. Walk-ins and same-day appointments are not accepted.
1.2 Guests are requested not to arrive more than fifteen (15) minutes prior to their appointment. Guests arriving more than fifteen (15) minutes late may have their appointment canceled or rescheduled at the Company’s discretion.
1.3 A non-refundable deposit of twenty-five to fifty dollars ($25–$50), depending on the service, is required to secure all appointments. Deposits will be applied to the total service price at the time of payment.
1.4 Services are not intended for children under the age of seventeen (17). Guests under the age of seventeen must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
1.5 The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any individual at any time.

2. TIME MANAGEMENT
2.1 Guests must cancel or reschedule at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to their scheduled appointment using the confirmation or reminder text/email links provided by the booking system. Changes made within 48 hours of an appointment, or missed appointments, will forfeit the prepayment and may require full prepayment for future bookings.
2.2 A fifteen (15) minute grace period is provided for tardiness. After this period, appointments may be canceled or rescheduled at the Company’s discretion, and a late cancellation fee equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the scheduled service price or a new deposit may be required.
2.3 Failure to comply with the cancellation or rescheduling policy may result in denial of future booking privileges.

3. PAYMENTS
3.1 The Company accepts the following forms of payment: cash, Zelle, major U.S. credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and tap-to-pay methods.
3.2 A convenience fee of three and one-half percent (3.5%) applies to all card and digital wallet transactions.
3.3 The Company does not accept CashApp, Venmo, or PayPal as valid forms of payment.
3.4 All remaining balances must be processed through GlossGenius.

4. ACCURATE BOOKING REQUIREMENT
4.1 Guests are required to book all desired services and add-ons at the time of scheduling to ensure proper allocation of time and resources.
4.2 Booking an incorrect or shorter service may result in denial of additional services if time does not permit, or adjustment of the appointment to the appropriate service, price, and deposit at the stylist’s discretion.
4.3 For Signature Silk Press Services:
a. If more than eight (8) weeks have elapsed since your last Silk Press appointment with the Company, you must book a Deluxe Silk Press.
b. If more than twelve (12) weeks have elapsed since your last Silk Press appointment with the Company, you must book a Luxe Silk Press (New Client Silk Press).
4.4 Guests who repeatedly underbook, misrepresent, or otherwise fail to accurately book required services may be denied future booking privileges.

5. FAILURE TO PAY
5.1 Failure to pay for services rendered constitutes a breach of this Policy and will result in immediate suspension of booking privileges.
5.2 Outstanding balances must be paid within seventy-two (72) hours. The Company reserves the right to pursue additional remedies, including legal action, if necessary.

6. REFUNDS
6.1 Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
6.2 The Company does not provide refunds for completed services. Guests are encouraged to communicate any dissatisfaction prior to final payment so that adjustments, if possible, may be made during the appointment.
7. APPOINTMENT ETIQUETTE
7.1 Completion of all required forms and waivers prior to the scheduled appointment is mandatory. Guests who fail or refuse to complete required documentation may have their appointment canceled, rescheduled, or denied at the Company’s discretion. Deposits in such cases are forfeited and non-refundable.
7.2 Guests must arrive with hair properly prepared in accordance with the service booked:
a. For Head Spa, Silk Press, or Blowout Services: All previous styles (including braids, twists, and similar) must be removed, and hair must be detangled to the best of the Guest’s ability.
b. For Color Services: Hair must be stretched or blown out and free of product or debris.
7.3 To maintain a tranquil spa environment, Guests may not bring additional individuals or children to their appointment.
7.4 Guests who are ill or experiencing symptoms of illness are required to notify the Company promptly to reschedule their appointment.

8. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By booking an appointment with Shantae Head Spa, the Guest affirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Booking & Service Policy in its entirety.
